Embracing a global
perspective for design thinking

Hello my name is Marek, I am UX/UI designer from New York City and I am excited to share with you my story of why I chose to become a UX/UI designer.

I started my academic journey as a first-generation college graduate with the goal of becoming a physical therapist, but somewhere along this journey, the fascination with the intersection of technology and human behavior grew stronger over time. This curiosity led me to  change my course of study, and soon discovered the world of UX/UI design. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for creating intuitive and meaningful user interfaces that would cater to the needs and desires of users.
After completing my internship and graduating with a bachelor's degree, I had to put on hold my further studies in the sector to go to work. After 3 years working in construction, I decided to resume my studies and decided to delve deeper into the field of UX design and enrolled in various courses and workshops to expand my knowledge and skills. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create products that are inclusive and accessible to everyone.

Outside of work, I enjoy going for a ride on my motorcycle, live concerts, and staying active and fit. I am also a huge volleyball fan.
